Personal management

You can expect prompt, friendly and responsive project management from a designated single point of contact throughout the development and delivery of training.

Excellent facilities

Training can be conducted at your offices or at our bright, modern training centre in central London for a professional and positive learning environment. Our in-house studio has cameras linked to big plasma screens in three boardroom-style training rooms. You will be regularly fuelled up with fresh fruit, snacks, fair-trade tea, coffee and smoothies.

Professional insight

On the day, training will include a balance of concise briefings from a media training PR specialist on the strategies and tactics behind great interviews, along with fresh and relevant audiovisual clips showing practical examples of good and bad performance, and plenty of opportunities for questions and discussion.

Practical interviews

Normally at least 80% of time will be spent in a cycle of realistic simulated interviews with a media training journalist, recorded using broadcast-quality TV and radio equipment. Journalists role-play all kinds of media encounters, from formal studio interviews to down-the-line interviews direct to camera using earpiece feedback; telephone and radio interviews.

Individual coaching.

Our PR team will use a feedback cycle between interviews with video replay on big screens to accelerate learning through detailed performance analysis, high quality personal coaching and specific individual action points.

Real stories

Our media training journalists will take it a step further by working exactly as they would with real news, compiling confidential written articles and broadcast packages on DVD. Spokespeople will get to see and hear their performance, and even read the story that would have been written.

Useful materials

Each person takes away a comprehensive media training guide including all key principles and lessons learned; also a laminated desk reminder sheet and wallet card for quick reference.

Evaluation and reporting

Trainers complete a structured debrief document including individual notes and recommendations for each participant. These can be compiled into a single evaluation report on skills, potential, strengths and weaknesses, and recommendations for improvement.
