Core PR skills
This course teaches the fundamental skills and principles that are critical to delivering results in a PR role, pitched at a suitably high level for people who are already advanced in their careers. It is aimed at people who are too senior for a generic introduction to PR course aimed at junior beginners.
This course is for all people whose job involves organising events with a PR or publicity implications. It is designed to convey the skills, experience, knowledge and tricks of the trade that make the difference between success and failure for PR events. Topics include event management and protocol, developing themes and content, venue sourcing and liaison, supplier negotiation, media events, and on-the-day response. An intensive five-day course for those relatively new to PR who need all the core PR skills required by a modern communications professional.
